David Shilson is the Chief for the Frisco Police Department.
He started with the Frisco Police Department in 2002 and has been in law enforcement since 1999. In his career he has served in nearly every aspect of a police department.

Deputy Chief Shilson has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in Political Science, and an Associates degree from Blinn College in Criminal Justice. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy 243rd session, a graduate of the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas, and the Senior Management Institute for Police 70th Session
