LifePath Systems
Aug. 13, 2020 12:00 p.m.
LifePath Systems’ mission is to serve individuals and families impacted by behavioral health, intellectual or developmental challenges, resulting in stronger communities. The agency was created as the Collin County Mental Health and Mental Retardation Center in 1986. The Collin County Commissioners Court established the center in response to recommendations from a blue ribbon task force on residents’ unmet needs for Mental Health and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities care. The Center’s Board of Trustees adopted the LifePath Systems dba (doing business as) in 1999 to reduce the stigma associated with seeking mental health care or public assistance. The founder and long-time leader of Success North Dallas, Bill Wallace has often said his greatest skill is “connecting the right people for the right reasons at the right time.” Bill’s generous “connection-making” has benefited countless individuals who have turned to him for trusted referrals, strategic business support, educational mentorship, and business/leadership coaching, as a Certified Professional Coach. Bill’s professional career flourished along with his development of now 30-year-old Success North Dallas, first as owner of Wallace Financial Group – a provider of business continuation planning, insurance and financial strategies – and, later, as Chairman and CEO of The Wallace Companies, a consulting firm specializing in capital development and executive management strategies. Wallace is a charter member and past president of the Addison Rotary Club, a longtime member of CEO Netweavers, a past member of the Million Dollar Roundtable and author of the recently released book Being a Catalyst for Success The Fulfilling Life of a Servant Leader.
